Did you know… there’s an award-winning Specialist Dental Laboratory at HWIC?

The Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre (HWIC) is home to a specialist dental laboratory called Dental Prosthetic Solutions (DPS). They are an award-winning* laboratory that provides a range of dental prosthetic solutions direct to patients, dentists and dental practices across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Their specialist team have extensive experience producing high quality bespoke dental prosthetics.

These include:

• Acrylic work
• Additional teeth
• Bespoke design
• Clasps
• Cleaning
• Gum shields
• Gum tint
• Orthodontic work (including casts)
• Reduce dentures
• Relines
• Retainers
• Whitening trays

DPS thrives in being in such an accessible and professional environment. For those essential denture repairs, patients don’t need to make an appointment – they can simply call to let the team know they are visiting. DPS can complete most repairs within the hour, or patients can arrange to come back at a time that best suits them. They can also offer a collection service via a patient’s own dentist.

At the other end of the spectrum, they are often commissioned by their dental clients to support them with their own patients’ complex prosthetics requirements.
