TIC businesses collaborate

Touchbyte, working with Ultramed, have completed a feasibility study funded by EPIC to investigate the possibility of using face recognition in the health care setting.

A working prototype has been developed which allows a person to register and log into their Ultramed account to complete a preoperative assessment using MyPreOp.

 

Jeremy Sneller, the Managing Director of Touchbyte said “it is exciting to see the possibility of using face recognition in healthcare being explored with the help of funding from EPIC. This has the potential to open up huge markets for innovative companies such as Touchbyte and Ultramed who are both based in the Tremough Innovation Centre”
