Events Assistant
Rhiannan has lived in Cornwall her whole life growing up in Coverack and now residing in Portscatho; living out her dream by the beaches. She did spend a short 5 years away in between to study at Bath Spa University where she studied for a BA Hons degree in Graphic Communications and graduated in 2016.
Rhiannan has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 16 years from part-time whilst she completed her studies to full-time and freelance this summer. She loves the diverse nature of the jobs, working weddings, festivals, events, private dining, and everything in-between but always focused on the events planning sector more.
At the beginning of 2020, just as the pandemic started, Rhiannan and her mum set up a small business from home making homemade crafts and hand illustrated greeting cards. This is one of her many passions in life. Rhiannan’s main passion though is to travel around cities and countries to learn of new cultures, local foods and of course testing out their coffee! Rhiannan spent a lot of her 2022 summer travelling around Europe, from the South of France to Greece soaking up the sun, taking dips in the sea and visiting her family.
You will find Rhiannan spending her free time at music events, swimming in the sea (all times of the year), travelling around Cornwall exploring new coffee hangouts, taking time with her family, including her two adorable Cocker Spaniel puppies, or simply enjoying a pint of MENA DHU in the pub with her friends – this one is her favourite!
