Rebecca Saunders

Rebecca has many years’ experience in retail, including management and training, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service. She prefers “giving constructive feedback” rather than complaining when the service she has personally received isn’t quite as expected.

After her twins were born, Rebecca spent eight years working as a secretary in schools, starting with the ‘tiddlers’ in infant and junior schools before moving on to working with Sixth Formers. This gave her the flexibility to be a working mum while still enjoying the long school holidays with her children.

Now that her children are teenagers, Rebecca found herself ready for a fresh challenge and joined us at HWIC. She describes herself as “not a perfectionist, but I have high standards” which makes her a great fit for her role.

She can often be found cleaning out a cupboard at home or vacuuming the terrace, because apparently, there is always something that needs cleaning!

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys decorating, DIY and collecting Art Deco. To relax, a passionfruit martini is her Friday night treat after a long week. She also enjoys keeping fit, travelling with her children and has a rather large and impressive shoe collection
