Centre Administrator
Melissa attended university in Bristol where she studied for a degree in Primary Education with qualified teacher status and graduated in 2009 with first class honours.
Growing up near Plymouth she moved further down in Cornwall in 2010 and worked in the education sector for eight and a half years.
Melissa joined the Cornwall Innovation team at Tremough in April 2018, after deciding to swap running around after children to running around after adults instead! Melissa describes herself as organised and efficient and loves a spreadsheet, which is just as well given her role as Centre Administrator.
When she’s not at work, Melissa has a son who keeps her just as busy. As a family they enjoy walks in the woods or at the beach and swimming.
Melissa loves musical theatre and likes to sing – a bit of karaoke is her guilty pleasure! She also has a thing for bees and butterflies, the colour pink and indulging in a cocktail or two, or three, or four, with her girlfriends.
