Business Assistant
Megan started a 12-month placement in September with the Cornwall Innovation Centres as part of her Business Management Degree course at the University of Plymouth. During this placement, Megan will be exposed to all aspects of running the Cornwall Innovation Centres from sales and marketing to finance, operations and customer service with the aim of honing her business skills and applying these to the final year of her university degree course.
Megan grew up in Cornwall and between school and university worked in a number of hospitality related roles that were mostly customer facing. Megan enjoys interacting with customers and is looking forward to meeting the various businesses across the Innovation Centres and learning how they achieve their goals.
Megan loves the outdoors, whatever the Cornish weather, and spends time looking after family pets (cats, horses and dogs) along with walking along Cornwall’s famous coastline. In the colder winter months Megan enjoys warming up in front of the fire with the latest crime/ thriller tv series or book.
