Events Assistant
Allison has spent the majority of her career in hotel hospitality and is part of the team at TIC as the Events Assistant. She brings with her a myriad of transferable skills, great customer service and a desire to do her best.
She decided to take a career change and undertook new qualifications, achieving a BA Honours Degree in English at Plymouth University, all whilst working and being a busy parent, successfully.
She has a full family life with four grown up children between her and her husband Mark.
Allison, who is a Cornish girl, enjoys good food and company particularly with either a sparkling Rosé and Prosecco! As well as being able to talk for England, having fun times with family and friends and going to the cinema, she enjoys walking our stunning Cornish coastline.
In recent years, Allison and husband Mark have done numerous fundraising events for charities. They have supported Cancer Research UK, Mark ran the London Marathon twice – 2017 and 2018 – with Allison and family being the support team. This year, as an added incentive for those kind enough to donate, saw Allison and Mark throwing themselves out of a perfectly good aeroplane on a joint Tandem Skydive – a bit of madness goes a long way!
