Major milestone reached for Cornwall-based training company

Positive Response Training and Consultancy, a Bild Association of Certified Training (Bild ACT) provider based at Tremough Innovation Centre in Penryn, has reached a major milestone, celebrating the 1,000^th person to qualify through its specialist train-the-trainer programme.

Positive Response Training and Consultancy was established to support the prevention and management of challenging behaviours in health, education and social care settings, working with services supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury and dementia. Its flagship train-the-trainer programme equips professionals to use evidence-based, Bild ACT-certified training within their own organisations, to offer safe, person-centred care.

The 1,000^th new trainer qualified in late June through the Positive Behaviour Management Pro (PBMpro) path, following a nine-day course.

Based at Tremough Innovation Centre, Positive Response works with organisations including Brandon Trust, River Exe Healthcare and Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, ensuring we continue to bring high-quality care training to those who need it most. This celebration also coincides with the renewal of our third consecutive Bild ACT certification – a UK Accreditation Service scheme that represents the gold standard in physical intervention training.

Qualifying our 1,000^th trainer, together with our renewed Bild ACT certification, means we can continue delivering expert training that prioritises quality of life and avoids restrictive practices.”
