Made for Life presented with King’s Award

Made for Life Organics was formally presented with its King’s Award for Enterprise this week, by the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, Colonel Sir Edward Bolitho.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, are the most prestigious business awards in the UK. First established in 1965, more than 7,000 companies have since achieved an award.

It was revealed back in May that Made for Life had won an award this year, along with two other Cornish businesses – Teagle Machinery and Lynher Dairies.

Made for Life founder, Amanda Winwood, said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the highly prestigious King’s Award for Sustainable Development… It is an incredible accolade.”
