Cornwall Innovation Centres raise over £1,500 for Man Down

Every year, Cornwall Innovation Centres host a fun-filled Christmas Quiz & Lunch for customers at each centre. Teams of four go head-to-head to battle it out for the title of quiz champions, followed by a festive buffet lunch. Alongside the quiz, a raffle runs throughout the festive season, with prizes generously donated by customers of the Centres and local businesses.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of customers and supporters, a fantastic total of £1,534 was raised for Man Down. Quiz champions included teams from Oxford Innovation, Koha Architects and Tank Recruitment.

Funds raised are donated to a nominated charity, which changes each year. This year, Cornwall Innovation Centres were proud to support Man Down, a charity dedicated to preventing male suicide and improving men’s mental health through peer-to-peer support groups across Cornwall and beyond.

Matt Harrington, Head of Cornwall Innovation Centres, commented: “Man Down provide vital support to men who may otherwise struggle in silence. It’s fantastic to see customers across the Cornwall Innovation Centres come together to support such an important cause. Thank you to everyone involved for helping us raise an incredible amount of money that will make a real difference.”
