Cornish Lithium recently appeared on BBC 1’s Countryfile alongside Geothermal Engineering Ltd. (GEL), their partners in building Europe’s first zero-carbon geothermal lithium recovery pilot plant, at their United Downs Deep Geothermal Project. They discussed lithium extraction in Cornwall and their pioneering exploration techniques and use of digital technology to re-evaluate Cornwall’s mineral potential as the UK seeks a domestic supply of lithium for use in electric vehicle and power storage batteries.
With the recent announcement from the UK Government of funding for the pilot plant and the results from their drill programme at their hard rock lithium project near St Austell, the Company is considering returning to the market to raise additional funds to accelerate their progress towards commercial lithium extraction in Cornwall.
They are again considering raising finance through Crowdcube, the world’s first equity crowdfunding platform. If you would like to find out more, please click here to pre-register your interest now and they will send you more details before they are available publicly.
