Steve Dewdney

Events Assistant

Originally from Bournemouth, Steve has built his career around events and project management, working at Bournemouth, Exeter, and Plymouth University. With both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in Event Management, he’s been on teams managing everything from meetings to large-scale festivals.

After relocating to the area, Steve was drawn to his current roles through his involvement with SPF projects supporting local Cornish SMEs, and what better place to continue this work than in the heart of Cornwall’s hubs for innovation and collaboration?

Outside of work, Steve loves fixing or improving all sorts of things electronic, exploring Cornwall with his dog, and throwing himself into anything with a competitive streak, including completing the UK’s Three Peaks Challenge for NHS Charities. A big foodie and sports enthusiast, he’s always up for a coffee or a beer and a chat about the next big challenge!
