Submarine Technology Limited is a design and development company with a long track record of innovation in offshore and subsea engineering.  Originally founded in Aberdeen with its operations directed towards the offshore oil industry, it now operates from Cowes and Falmouth and is heavily involved also with developments for the offshore renewables industry.  STL’s particular area of expertise is in advanced motion-compensation and its Neptune ship-mounted access and light-crane systems are at an early commercial stage.  In addition to the ability to access fixed offshore structures, ongoing development continues with ERDF/MCF support in Cornwall aimed at a new system to access moving targets and operate from ASV’s.
