Melanie Dixon DipION mBANT CNHC, Registered Nutritional Therapist and owner of Foreshore Nutrition, offers professional nutritional and lifestyle advice and support. Based in Truro, consultations are available both face-to-face and online to provide flexibility and ease of access to all services.
The aim of Foreshore Nutrition is to share knowledge, provide support and empower individuals to make positive and sustainable changes towards long-term optimal health and wellbeing. This is achieved using current and robust scientific evidence and research in the field of nutrition following a functional medicine approach.
Melanie works with clients to assess and identify individual potential nutritional imbalances to understand how these may be contributing to symptoms and health issues. A wide range of functional tests and exclusive practitioner access to professional supplements are available to target therapy to suit the client’s specific needs, allowing a tailored rather than a generic ‘one size fits all’ programme.
With a special interest in gut health and digestive disorders, Melanie also works with clients who are seeking support with any health issues and ongoing symptoms, provides advice on healthy eating and lifestyle, as well as support through particular life stages. Nutritional imbalances can be associated with poor digestion, fatigue, stress and mood disorders, hormone imbalance, muscle and joint issues, skin disorders, infections, inflammatory conditions and auto-immune disease to name but a few.
Foreshore Nutrition services range from a basic dietary analysis through to personalised consultation packages and group workshops upon request.
